How To Create A Charming 3 Rose Arrangement
Don’t settle for a typical rose arrangement – make it your own. This easy guide will show you how to get creative with only 3 roses, inspiring you to think outside the box and create something truly unique and special!
Supplies You’ll Need:
3-5 roses or any flower that has the same structure as a rose
Ribbon for tying the arrangement
Scissors
Pretty paper or even sturdy tissue ( I used leftover wrapping paper)
Green floral wire or can use ribbon for tying the flower stems
Optional:
Sturdy paper like cardstock to write a message
Lighter or candle with flame
- First, grab the roses and arrange them so that they are all bunched together. I used 3 roses and placed the last rose below the other two so that you can see all of the roses better. Then, tie them together with floral wire but if you don’t have any, ribbon will suffice.
- After, cut the pretty paper the same length as the roses or a little bit shorter, depending on your preference. If you have design on your paper, make sure the design is flipped over and you can’t see it. Then, take the edges of the paper and fold them in so that they meet in the middle. Do not make creases until you are satisfied with the final look. In the end, there should be 2 creases when opening the paper and the design should now be facing you. It will look like a cabinet with two doors.
- Next, take the flowers and place them on the paper. The length of the paper and roses is your preference and both lengths can be cut even after they are tied together.
- Lastly, with flowers on the paper, grab the ribbon and move it underneath the paper, stopping at the point where the flowers are tied with floral wire. Then, tie the ribbon encompassing the paper and flowers together. It might need to be wrestled with a little but once it’s tied, make sure it is tight. Depending on how you want it to look, tie the ribbon into a bow or let the ribbon hang.
Adding A Note
To make the flowers even more personal, use a small square of sturdy paper and print or handwrite a note. Then, use fire from a candle or long lighter and burn the edges to create a vintage look. I would highly recommend doing this outside as it can become very smelly. To secure the note, use tape or a dab of glue and place the bottom corner inside but behind the roses. You are now done and should have a charming rose arrangement!
