Beautiful Photoshoot in Paris For 1st Anniversary
Ever since Scott and I met twelve years ago, we have always dreamed of visiting Paris. We even considered eloping there, but due to Covid and the logistical challenges involved, we decided against it. Instead, we decided to commemorate the occasion by arranging for a professional photoshoot in Paris. We even brought our wedding attire since it was our first wedding anniversary.
An Amusing Anecdote
During our photoshoot in Paris, I wore my wedding dress before changing into my Alexia Maria big bow dress. I changed in a coffee shop, which proved to be the most difficult outfit change I’ve ever experienced! The bathroom was located on the second floor and had a tiny, swirling metal staircase. I was wearing a tight-fitting wedding dress with a long train and high heels. The bathroom itself was very small and only suitable for using the toilet. Oh là là! It was quite a nightmare, but I managed to change and make it back down without falling. I will remember this experience for the rest of my life!
Our photo session took place towards the end of May and surprisingly, it was quite chilly that day. It didn’t help that we were on location at 6:00 a.m. with temperatures in the 50s. To make matters worse, the wind was blowing fiercely, and I had to keep brushing hair out of my face. It was quite a contrast to the hot weather we had experienced just days prior. Despite the freezing conditions, we enjoyed ourselves immensely.
The Photographer
We decided to book The Paris Photographer for our shoot. The booking process was incredibly easy, and we had the option to select from a range of photographers available. The company also provided different time slots, starting from 30 minutes to a few hours. Odrida was our photographer and was not only talented but also very friendly.
Final Thoughts
If you’ve ever thought about what to do with your wedding dress after your wedding, I highly recommend wearing it again on your anniversary and having some professional pictures taken. Likely, you will never wear it again, so why not take the opportunity? I am so happy that I did and I will cherish these memories forever.
Let me know your thoughts in the comments and bonus points if you can tell me if you wore your dress after the wedding!
